Dr. Lori Croom Jasper is a native of Birmingham, Alabama.  She graduated as valedictorian from Shades Valley High school in Irondale, Alabama. It was there that she developed an interest in the human eye and decided that she wanted to become an eye doctor. She went on to earn her B.S. in Chemistry from the prestigious Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  Dr. Jasper returned to Birmingham to pursue her long-time dream of becoming an optometrist, and obtained her O.D. degree at UAB School of Optometry.

Dr. Lori has a real love for people and is extremely passionate about preserving the vision and health of the human eye.  She enjoys spending time with her young daughters Charity & Christen, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

**While in High School, she was named the Dr. Pepper Fox 6 Star Student of the Week and taped a television commercial where she shared her dream of owning optometry clinics all over the world.

**Dr. Lori's favorite show of all times is "A Different World."  She knows all the lines on all of the episodes (with the exception of season 1 with Lisa Bonet of course).

**Dr. Lori is the middle of five children
